Srinagar, 31 March (CNI) : Muslim neighbors in Kulgam helped in performing the last rites of a hindu man, who dies of cardiac arrest last night at his home in Kabram area in kulgam district.
Reports reaching News-agency Current News of India (CNI) that local muslims helped in performing last rites of 50-year-old, Balbir Singh S/O Surinder Singh, who dies by cardiac arrest at his home in Karkan Kulgam last night.
Balbir was working in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Amritsar and was cremated with honour on friday, Muslim neighbours helped perform his last rites as per their religion.
The muslim neighbours helps in performing last rites of the deceased hindu man as per their religion and every possible help was provided by the local Muslim community, from setting up the cremation pyre to checking the last-minute details.
Meanwhile Locals in large number also visited the home of the deceased family to express condolences with them. (CNI)
