The Security forces on monday foiled an infiltration bid and killed two militants on the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch sector.
An official told News agency-Current News of India (CNI) that during the intervening night of Sunday-Monday , some militants were intercepted on Line of Control in Poonch sector while attempting to cross the fence.
Defence spokesman Lt Col Suneel Bartwal said that in a joint “Operation Bahadur” launched by army along with JK Police in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, after an attempt was made by infiltrators on the LoC in the Poonch sector area.
He said “In this Operation Bahadur, two infiltrators have been eliminated, Search operations are in progress,”he added.(CNI)
