Rajesh Kumar Gupta, an ITS officer from the 1998 batch who was recommended for a central deputation by the Department of Telecommunications, has been chosen for appointment as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi, according to a decision made today by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
From the day he assumed the responsibility, he has been employed under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years.
In order for him to accept a new position at the Ministry of Home Affairs, the DoPT requested the Department of Telecommunications to relieve him.
