Jammu and Kashmir: Lt Gen Sachdeva reviews counter-terrorism training at Corps Battle School in Doda division

Jammu, (CNI) General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Jammu-based White Knight Corps, Lt. Gen. Naveen Sachdeva, on Wednesday conducted anti-terror training at the Corps Battle School in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. reviewed the exercises, a defense spokesman said.

The Corps Commander along with GOC Delta Force Major General Apkar Chandra interacted with the trainees, who included 989 Police Sub-Inspectors and 62 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP) probationers, the spokesman said.

After witnessing live fire demonstrations and anti-terror drills by trainee police officers at the war school, Lt Gen Sachdeva praised the commitment shown by both trainees and instructors.

He urged them to continue striving for professionalism, the spokesman said.

Lt Gen Sachdeva also appreciated the professionalism, dedication and efforts of White Knight Corps Battle School, Bhalra in putting together the training programme.

The training will result in better coordination between the two elite organizations – Indian Army and J&K Police – by sharing and understanding each other’s strengths, ethos, culture, values and best practices.

GOC White Knight Corps said, “The joint training initiative not only highlights the enduring partnership between Dharwa Command and White Knight Corps with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, but also their joint long-term commitment to a safe and prosperous Jammu and Kashmir. He also appreciated the Director General of Police, RR Swain, for his leadership and foresight in initiating joint police training at the White Knight Corps Battle School.
