Jammu: Kavinder Gupta, Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, has expressed profound grief and strong condemnation over the recent deaths of three individuals in the Billawar area of Kathua district.
In a press statement issued here today, the BJP leader said, “The loss of these lives is a matter of grave concern. Such incidents not only disrupt the peace and harmony of our society but also instill fear among the residents. The BJP stands firmly with the bereaved families during this challenging time.”
Kavinder emphasized that terrorism, which has been effectively countered in the Kashmir region, will not be allowed to resurface in Jammu. He highlighted that terrorists are adopting new tactics, aiming to create confusion and fear without necessarily resorting to traditional weapons. “We must remain vigilant against these evolving threats and ensure that peace and stability are maintained across all regions,” he added.
The former Deputy Chief Minister called upon law enforcement agencies to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice swiftly. He also urged the public to cooperate with authorities and report any suspicious activities to prevent such tragedies in the future.
He reiterated the BJP’s commitment to safeguarding the interests of the people and ensuring that the region remains free from the scourge of terrorism. He assured the citizens that the party, in collaboration with security forces, will take all necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
The senior BJP leader also appealed to the community to maintain unity and not succumb to fear, emphasizing that collective resilience is crucial in the face of such challenges. He encouraged citizens to uphold communal harmony and support each other to preserve the social fabric of the region.
