Kohinoor Women’s and Children Welfare Society Chairperson Visits Kheer Bhawani temple in Ganderbal

Srinagar, 28 May (CNI) : The Chairperson of Kohinoor Women’s and Children’s Welfare Society, Ms Nigeena visited Mata Kher Bhawani temple in Tulmulla area of Ganderbal on Sunday.

As per the news agency-Current News of India (CNI) the Chairperson of Kohinoor Women’s and Children’s Welfare Society, Ms Nigeena Visited and spend the day with Pandit Community at the temple Mata Kheer Bhawani temple situated in middle of a spring in Tullamulla village of Ganderbal.

Ms Nigeena said that the annual Mata Kheer Bhawani festival presents a perfect example of the Hindu Muslim brotherhood in Kashmir. It is a perfect example of religious harmony that has been a mainstay of our Kashmiri culture.

It is the perfect example of our vivid and shared cultural ethos, she adds.

Mata Kheer Bhawani temple in Tullamulla village of Ganderbal district is the holiest temple shrine of Kashmiri Pandits.

Even after migration to various places outside the Valley following outbreak of militancy violence, Kashmiri Pandits come from all over the country to seek the blessings of the deity during the annual festival which was held this year on May 28.(CNI)
