Srinagar, September 17(CNI): The operation against militants, which commenced Wednesday evening, has now extended into its fifth day as of Sunday. A rigorous multi-layer cordon has been established, and security forces are closely monitoring the movements of the two remaining militants who have yet to be killed. The rugged forested terrain, coupled with occasional rainfall, posed challenges during Saturday’s operation. “The area is exceptionally confined, with dense woods on one side and a steep trench on the other,” remarked one of the officers involved.
