Talking to CNI correspondent, Abdul Majeed, a local resident, said, “Water is not being supplied in our area for the past one week and everyone in the village is worried about the water crisis. Although water is an important part of life in our daily life, we are craving for every single drop of water.”

Local people said, we have approached every official of the fire department to restore water supply, but no one is paying attention to our complaint.

The people requested LG administration and district administration Anantnag to look into the matter and solve their problem.

In this matter, when the CNI correspondent contacted AEE Department Jal Shakti Bijbahadah Dovedan Saghir Ahmed, he said that steps are being taken to ensure water supply to the area.(CNI)
