Srinagar, 02 Sep (CNI) :The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway has been closed for vehicular traffic due to a landslide at Dalwas Nashri.
Official sources told News-agency Current News of India that Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was blocked due to a landslide at dalwas nashri, and as of the latest traffic update at 0630 hours, traffic has been halted from both directions on NH-44.
The landslide at Dalwas Nashri has raised concerns about the safety of commuters and vehicles traveling along this vital highway. Officials are advising commuters to refrain from traveling on NH-44 until further notice. The Traffic Control Units (TCUs) are expected to provide confirmation and updates on the reopening of the highway.
