As the serving member of the community and President of the Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC), it is my duty to articulate the concerns and aspirations of the displaced Kashmiri Pandit community. As you seek the support of our community during the ongoing electoral process in the Kashmir valley, we urge you to answer the following questions before soliciting our votes to our community members
1. Do you unequivocally acknowledge the tragic plight of exiled Kashmiri Pandits as victims of ethnic cleansing and forced exodus? Are you genuinely committed to implementing measures aimed at rectifying this historical injustice?
2. Will you commit to pursuing justice by prosecuting all perpetrators and instigators responsible for the heinous massacres, atrocities, and dispossession inflicted upon our community?
3. Are you prepared to take concrete steps to restore the land and orchards unjustly seized from Kashmiri Pandits under draconian land laws and through distress sales?
4. Do you accept the irreversible abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A, and pledge to refrain from advocating for their revocation?
5. Will you actively endorse and facilitate our legitimate aspiration for a secure and dignified return to our ancestral land, allowing us to
settle at “ONE PLACE” as a cohesive community within the framework of the Indian Constitution?
6. Lastly, will you commit to addressing the economic repercussions of our displacement by providing compensation for the loss of our properties, homes, crops, orchards, and other assets?
Your responses to these questions will not only shape our decision as voters but also demonstrate your genuine commitment to justice.. We eagerly await your thoughtful and comprehensive replies.
