JAMMU : Mr Raghbir Singh Manhas District President Jammu Rural A J&K National Conference, Jammu, raised serious concerns about the neglect of the border belt in the entire Jammu region by the LG-led administration.The meeting was under the chairmanship of Choudhary Mohinder Singh Block President Khour.
Mr Raghbir Singh Manhas while addressing a meeting of party workers of Block Khour in Village Dhonchak District Jammu Rural A in connection with the upcoming of Parliament elections.He highlighted the disappointment felt over the present government’s failure in providing basic amenities to the border dwellers. He said people deprived of regular water, and power supply, lack of medical facilities, inadequate infrastructure at health centres and government schools. He further said that unemployment and rising prices has made very difficult for border dwellers to live normal life. He demanded that special package be given to the youth of border dwellers so that they could earn and feed their families.
Mr Raghbir asked party workers to actively engage with the public and raise awareness about the contributions of the National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir in making J&K TAJ OF INDIA. He expressed confidence that the National Conference will perform well in the upcoming Parliament elections.
