Srinagar, 07 Sep (CNI): Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, delivered a stern message in Sopore, urging residents not to provide shelter to terror supporters and terrorists. He emphasized the need for cooperation with law enforcement and security forces in combating the terror ecosystem.
As per the monitoring desk of Current News of India, while speaking at Dak Bunglow Sopore, he expressed the administration’s determination to eradicate the terror network and take strict action against those who profited from conflict at the expense of the common people.
He criticized those who, in the past, had perpetuated violence and strife in Sopore, tarnishing its reputation as a thriving business hub.
LG Sinha pledged to restore Sopore to its former glory, leveraging Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s support. He highlighted the importance of the town’s Asia’s largest fruit mandi and vowed to transform Sopore into a model town for the entire country.
He also stressed the historical significance of communal harmony in Sopore and promised efforts to revive that unity. LG Sinha commended the Municipal Committee’s efforts to maintain cleanliness and encouraged local involvement in community development.
At last , the LG emphasized that every resident of Jammu and Kashmir is a VIP, advocating against a culture of discrimination and promoting equal treatment for all. (CNI)
