Kashmir : Local shopkeepers in Kashmir are experiencing a significant decline in business due to the increasing popularity of online shopping and prevailing economic challenges. This downturn is notably impacting the local markets as the region prepares for Eid ul-Adha.

The General Secretary of the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation, Mohammad Altaf Dar, emphasized the critical need for community support to sustain local businesses during this festive season. “This Eid, let’s prioritize shopping from our local markets to help sustain our local businesses and support our community,” he urged.

The Federation calls upon all residents to contribute towards the revival of the local economy by choosing to shop locally for their Eid ul-Adha preparations. Supporting local shopkeepers not only helps preserve the traditional market culture but also strengthens the local economy during these challenging times.(CNI) Current News of India
