Srinagar, Apr 04: In response to the recent violent incident in Udhampur, Mehbooba Mufti, President of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has voiced her strong condemnation. On Wednesday night, a group of hooligans targeted Bakerwal families, leaving several individuals, including girls, seriously injured.
Expressing her distress over the attack, Mehbooba emphasized the severity of the situation and urged the Jammu and Kashmir Police to take immediate and stringent action against the perpetrators. She condemned the actions of those attempting to disrupt peace and harmony in the region, labeling their behavior as “absolutely shameful & unacceptable.”
The PDP President further added that ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, there’s a concerning trend of the BJP and its allies attempting to sow seeds of discord and target minorities.
