Srinagar, 12 Sep (CNI) :Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and People’s Democratic Party President Mehbooba mufti on Tuesday has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic deaths of four people, including two brothers at Banihal on Srinagar-Jammu national highway.
In a statement, Party President Mehbooba Mufti has expressed her profound grief and sorrow over the death of M Afzal Garoo ,Altaf Garoo, Irfan Ahmed, Showkat Ahmed of Trail Srigufwara in a tragic accident on Jammu- Srinagar National Highway. She has also expressed heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families.
The accident occurred on Tuesday morning when a truck on way from Jammu towards Srinagar, was hit by a massive rolling boulder and it skidded off the road and rolled into a deep gorge,resulting on spot death to four. (CNI)
