The body of an escaped militant who was injured in an encounter in Rajouri two weeks ago was found in Budhal forest area, while some weapons and ammunition were also found near the body.
According to CNI, the police on Friday found the body of a militant who was injured in an encounter two weeks ago in Budhal area and another militant was already claimed to have been killed by the army in this clash.
Sources said that the body of one militant was recovered on August 5. The army and police said that an another militant was injured in the encounter that day.
A police officer said that the body of the second militant who was injured in an encounter in Khawas Budhal of Rajouri district was found by the SOG of police from Dhakikot area.
He said that hand grenades, magazines and other materials were recovered from the militant’s possession.
SSP Rajouri Amrit Pal Singh confirmed the recovery of the body.
He said that two militants have been killed in this encounter and a large amount of arms and ammunition have also been recovered.(CNI)
