Minor’s Body Recovered from Hokarsar

Srinagar, 21 June (CNI):The body of a minor, who drowned in a flood channel at Hamdaniya Colony, Bemina on Sunday, was recovered from Hokarsar in central Kashmir Srinagar district on Wednesday morning.

Reports reaching News-agency Current News of India (CNI) that the body of 9-year-old minor identified as Ikhlaq Ahmed of Hamdaniya Colony Bemina, was recovered from Hokarsar Soibugh on Wednesday morning, the minor drowned in the flood channel while taking bath on Sunday.

An official told CNI that a police team reached to the spot and recovered the body from Hokarsar and taken the body to nearby healthcare facility Centre for medico legal formalities, adding that the body will be handed over to the family for last rites after completing medico legal formalities.(CNI)
