Missing Soldier Traced after five days in Kulgam : Police

A 26-year-old army personnel from Asthal area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, who went missing five days before , have been traced by Kulgam police on Thursday evening.

As per the news agency-Current News of India(CNI) , Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar said that the missing Army man from Kulgam has been recovered while a joint interrogation will start shortly after medical checkup.

Kashmir Zone Police informed through a tweet “#Missing Army jawan has been recovered by Kulgam Police. Joint #interrogation will start shortly after medical checkup. Further details shall follow: ADGP Kashmir.”

Notably, the army soldier, Javed Ahmad Wani, posted in Leh (Ladakh) went missing on 30th of july from his home, following the incident a massive search and cordon operation was launched by the Indian Army and police in the area and today evening he was recovered in Kulgam area.(CNI)
