Srinagar,July 05: Prominent socio-political activist and senior trade union leader Mohammad Altaf Dar has called upon the administration to ensure proper arrangements for the upcoming Muharram-ul-Haram observances. Emphasizing the importance of the month for the Shia community, Dar urged authorities to provide necessary facilities and security measures to ensure peaceful and respectful commemorations. He highlighted the need for adequate water, electricity, medical aid, and sanitation services during the processions and gatherings. Mohammad Altaf Dar (Rajbagh) also requested the administration to engage with community leaders to address any concerns and ensure smooth conduct of events. CNI
