Jammu, Sept 20 CNI News :Around 40 sheep and goats got killed due to lightning that struck the highlands of Doligam/HinjhalTop of Banihal area in Ramban district on Wednesday.
Reports suggest that a police team and officials from department concerned have rushed to the spot and are accessing the situation.
The owner of the livestock claimed that around 80 goats and sheep got killed while as officials and sources revealed that 40 have been killed. Sources close to our news agency also revealed that owner of the killed livestock hails from the Anantnag district.
Officials also said that detailed report about the incident is being made and more details will be shared soon .
