A most wanted & notorious drug smuggler of Ladoora Sopore was arrested with 110 grams of contraband Charas like substance during naka checking at Kanispora Baramulla.
As per the statement, Police under the supervision of Sh Altaf Ahmad-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by Inspr Vilayat Hussain SHO PS Baramulla arrested Drug smuggler namely Mukhtar Ahmad Shah S/O Abdul Khaliq Shah R/O Ladoora Rafiabad during naka checking at Kanispora Baramulla who was coming towards Kanispora and after noticing the police party tried to flee away but was apprehended tactfully and was taken into custody immediately.
During search 110 grams of contraband Charas like substance was recovered from his possession.
Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Baramullla and investigations set in motion.
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.(CNI)
