Baramulla, 25 July (CNI) : Baramulla Police on tuesday arrested most Wanted & Notorious drug smuggler of Hathlanga Uri and recovered 276 grams of contraband Heroin like substance alongwith cash Rs.10000/- during naka checking at Uri.
As per the statement, Police under the supervision of Sh Shokat Ali-JKPS, SDPO Uri assisted by Inspr Mohd Shafi SHO PS Uri arrested Most Wanted & Notorious Drug smuggler namely Mohammad Sharief S/O Ghulam Mohd resident of Hathlanga Uri during naka checking at Uri who was coming towards Uri and after noticing the police party tried to flee away but was apprehended tactfully and was taken into custody immediately.
During his search 276 grams of contraband Charas like substance alongwith cash Rs. 10000/- was recovered and was taken into custody immediately.
Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Uri and investigations set in motion.
