Srinagar, 24 April (CNI) : The National Investigation Agency(NIA) on monday attached the property of Syed Ahmad Shakeel, who is son of Hizbul Mujahideen chief, Syed Salahuddin, in Ram Bagh area of Srinagar district under UAPA.
Official sources told News-agency Current News of India (CNI) that following the directions from the special NIA Court in Delhi, property of Syed Ahmad Shakeel was attached in Nursing Garh Mohalla in Ram Bagh Srinagar.
As per the NIA notice, immoveable property- survey No. 1917/1566, 1567 and 1568 located at revenue wstate, Nursing Garh, Mohalla Ram Bagh, Srinagar under the ownership of Syed Ahmad Shakeel (son of Syed Yousuf Shah alias Syed Salahuddin, a ‘listed militant’ under UA(P) Act, 1967 stands attached.
The official said the property was attached under sub-section 33 (1) of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, 1967 by the order of special NIA court New Delhi. (CNI)
