Srinagar: Police in Srinagar district of central Kashmir have demonstrated their commitment to justice by promptly taking cognizance of the reported incident.
It has come to light that a student from NIT Hazatbal allegedly uploaded sensitive content that offended the religious sentiments of a particular community.
A senior police officer told News Agency (CNI) Current News of India that upon receiving information about the incident from the NIT authorities, the police promptly registered a case (FIR no. 156/23 U/S 295 A, 153 IPC) at the Nigeen police station.
The officer said that further investigation into the case has been initiated. (CNI) Current News of India
