Omar Abdullah Visits Fire Victims in Ganderbal, Seeks Transparent Probe into Sopore, Kathua Incidents

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on Monday visited Beehama, Ganderbal, to meet the victims of a recent fire incident that completely damaged their house. He assured them of full support and urged authorities to expedite relief measures.

Speaking to reporters, Omar Abdullah said his visit aimed to ensure assistance for the affected family and to offer condolences to National Conference members in the district.

When asked about his recent meeting with the Union Home Minister, he described it as “good” and revealed that he raised concerns about the Sopore and Kathua incidents. He stressed the need for a transparent inquiry into both cases to ensure justice for the victims.

“We want a fair and transparent investigation so that the victims and their families get the relief and justice they deserve,” Omar Abdullah said.
