Srinagar, 29 Aug (CNI) : One person killed while another injured after a portion of concrete slab of a government school collapsed in Khag area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on tuesday morning.
Reports reaching News-agency Current News of India that the two labourers were constructing a bathroom in Government Boys Middle School Khag, suddenly a portion of slab fell and the labourers got trapped under the debris, resulting death to one and injuries to another.
The deceased labourer was identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Thokar of Lohran Khag while another Injured labourer was identified as Javid Ahmed Shah has been shifted to nearby hospital for advanced treatment.
A police official confirmed the incident to Current News of India and said that a case has been registered and further investigation has been taken up. (CNI)
