Young faces from Anantnag and Srinagar Joined PDP in presence of party president Ms Mehbooba Mufti at party headquarters Srinagar
Srinagar, May 12: Welcoming the quorum of Lawyers from Anantnag & Srinagar , into party fold in a function here in Party Office Srinagar today , the PDP Chief Ms Mehbooba Mufti has said that emergence of PDP in the political front of state was a historical development as it not only changed the political discourse in Jammu and Kashmir but also in the entire South Asian region. Those who joined the party fold today include Adv Arif nazir Bhat, Adv Irshad Ahmad Dar, Adv Syed Irfan, Adv Rajat Nazir , Sameed Zahoor Gilkar, Jan Mohammad Najar and from Srinagar Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat and Mudasir Ahmad Dar from Batmaloo also joined on this occasion.
Mehbooba calls for conscious voting in the elections to resonate with the idea of democratic participation as a means to address grievances and pave the way for prosperity and peace. By urging people to shun cynicism and vote enthusiastically, she reaffirms the power of the electorate in shaping the future of the state.
Highlighting PDP’s role since 2002, Mehbooba underscored the party’s proactive stance in representing the concerns of the people and laying a foundation for positive change. She emphasized on the party’s distinct agenda and policies for the welfare of J&K which reflects a commitment to addressing the unique challenges faced by the region.
