PM Modi to Inaugurate Developmental Works of Thousands of Crores in Jammu; Dr. Jitendra Singh

Jammu : Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh said on Tuesday that we were keenly interested in Prime Minister Narendra Modi visiting here before the election code of conduct. Finally, it has come true, as our PM Modi is visiting the Jammu region on February 20th.

Speaking to News Agency CNI , Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh said that on February 20th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Jammu, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of development works worth thousands of crores.

He mentioned that during his visit, the prime minister will inaugurate the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Vijaypur in Samba, the highest railway bridge over Chenab in the Reasi district, the Devika project at Udhampur, IIM Jammu, and the Shahpur-Kandi Dam project. The 1.3-kilometer Chenab rail bridge, located 359 meters above the riverbed, which is 35 meters higher than the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris, forms a crucial link in the 111-kilometer stretch from Katra to Banihal. This stretch is part of the ongoing prestigious Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Link (USBRL) project. (CNI) Current News of India
