September 17, 2023, CNI News: Kashmir Police In keeping with their mission to rid society of the drug menace, police today seized 22 bottles of illegal codeine syrup in addition to two drug dealers.
According to an official who spoke to CNI, the two drug dealers have been identified as Mohd Ashraf Burza son of Mohd Sadiq Burza, resident of Saraie Safakadal, and Mohd Imran Khan son of Gh Mohidin Khan resident of Sunarkul.
An official stated that 22 bottles of illegal codeine phosphate syrup were found in a van which had been stopped for checking by the police during a naka.
The Safakadal Police Station registered FIR 128/2023 U/S 8,22 of the NDPS Act in this regard, and vehicle which was used for selling drugs was also seized.
