The Police in Baramulla district has arrested three drivers and seized three Tippers who were allegedly involved in the illegal extraction of minerals.
In a statement issued to CNI, Police said, “Police under the supervision of Sh. Imtiaz Ahmed-JKPS SDPO Tangmarg assisted by Inspr Tawseef Habib SHO PS Tangmarg seized 3 Tippers and arrested 3 drivers at Shrai-Kulhama Tangmarg who were found involved in illegal extraction/ transportation of minerals.”
The arrested drivers were identified as Khursheed Ahmad Khan S/O Ali Mohd Khan R/O Check Treran, Showkat Ahmad Parray S/O Gh Mohiuddin R/O Kulhama & Ab Hamid Kumar S/O GhMohd R/O Paraswani Kunzer.
A Case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Tangmarg and investigation set in motion.(CNI)
