Baramulla, 08 Aug (CNI): Acting tough against the menace of drugs, Baramulla Police along with Ex. The magistrate on Monday destroyed wild cannabis spread on 1.2 Kanals of Public Land at Tappar and Rengi pattan areas in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
In a press release, a police spokesperson said Baramulla Police received information regarding presence of Wild Cannabis at Tapper & Renji Pattan, Baramulla.
Accordingly a police party consisting of personnel from Police Post Palhallan led by PSI Aeraf Niyaz IC PP Palhallan alongwith Executive Magistrate under the overall supervision of Sh. Mohd Nawaz-JKPS, SDPO Pattan reached the spot and destroyed the Wild Cannabis on fields measuring approx about 1.2 Kanals of land.
General people of Pattan hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and has joined the destruction of Wild Cannabis at the locations.(CNI)
