Baramulla, 08 Sep (CNI) : Cracking a whip on illegal mining of minerals at Sheeri, the Baramulla Police seized three Tippers besides arresting three drivers involved in illegal mining of minerals at Sheeri area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official told News agency-Current News of India that police has seized 3 Tippers and arrested 3 drivers namely Farooq Ahmad Dar son of Mohd Maqbool, Bashir Ahmad Reshi son of Ab Hamid both residents of Jalsheeri and Khalid Hussain Malla son of Gh Ahmad resident of Kitchama.
He said that the drivers alongwith their vehicles were found involved in illegal extraction/ transportation of minerals and accordingly FIR under relevant sections of law were registered in Police Station Sheeri against them and investigations taken up.(CNI)
