Jammu and Kashmir Police Chief Dilbagh Singh while talking about the preparations going on at all levels for organizing Independence Day celebrations on August 15, said that the biggest tricolor rally will be organized on August 13.
According to CNI, Jammu and Kashmir Police Chief, DGP, Dilbagh Singh visited the border district of Kupwara and participated in the events organized by the police there. Talking to the media on this occasion, he said that all the preparations for the Independence Day celebrations are going on.
He said that police and civil administration meetings were held to review the arrangements. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also reviewed the arrangements during a meeting, he said.
Adding, ADGP Kashmir and Jammu on behalf of Jammu and Kashmir Police also reviewed all the arrangements for the Independence Day celebrations by holding meetings at different levels.
He said that at present events are being organized under the banner of “Meri Mati Mera Desh” and the Jammu and Kashmir Police have actively participated in these events in every district. “While events were also held at different places to pay tribute to the martyred policemen.”
Dilbagh Singh further said that a high-level tricolor rally is being organized in Jammu and Kashmir on August 13.(CNI)
