Srinagar, September 2, 2024: A significant press conference was held today at Welcome Hotel, Srinagar, by Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) led by Trilok Tyagi, National General Secretary (Org), and Vinay Pradhan, Incharge Jammu & Kashmir. The event highlighted RLD’s commitment to supporting contesting candidates and focusing on key issues such as Kissan development, unemployment, statehood, rural and urban development, and women empowerment.
The press conference also marked the announcement of Mohammad Altaf Dar as the General Secretary (Org)/Spokesperson for Jammu & Kashmir, and Basit Hayat Zargar as the Youth President, underscoring the party’s dedication to engaging with youth and grassroots movements for sustainable development in the region.At a press conference, the Kashmir Development Forum, under the leadership of Farooq Renzu Sahib, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the development of the RLD (Rastriya LoK DaL ) candidates in the upcoming elections and development program. The forum highlighted the significance of the RLD initiative in fostering sustainable growth, enhancing infrastructure, and improving the socio-economic conditions of the region.Trilok Tyagi Sahib emphasized the need for collective efforts from all stakeholders to ensure the program’s success, while pledging the forum’s full cooperation in achieving the development goals set forth by the RLD initiative.
The Rastriya LoK Dal aims to play a crucial role in advocating for policies that will bring positive change and prosperity to the people of Kashmir. Through this RLD commitment, the forum reinforces its dedication to the region’s progress, aligning with the vision of a more developed and prosperous Kashmir. Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) has announced its intention to contest in the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir on several key seats, including Handwara, Langate, Sopore, Baramullah, Wagora-Kreeri, Pattan, Sonawari, Ganderbal, Hazratbal, Khanyar, Central Shalteng, Beerwah, and more to be contested .The decision was made during a meeting attended by prominent party members and leaders, emphasizing the party’s commitment to expanding its political footprint in the region.
