Release Religious Scholars, Close Wine Shops JKAT Stages Protest At Jantar Mantar

”:Jammu Kashmir Awami Tehreek staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi and demanded closure of newly opened wine shops and fast trails for detained journalists.

The protesters urged the government to make a strict policy against Drug Peddling.

A statement issued here reads as, Protesters demanded fair and fast trails for journalists and other political leaders who are jailed. They also urged the government to bring all PSA detainees to their native state.

Spokesperson JKAT Angad Singh Khalsa said we are sitting on one day protest on Jantar Mantar. “We demand ban on all newly opened Alcohol shops in J&K, urgent strict effective policies should be shaped to deal with growing drug addiction cases in J&K,” he said.

“Fair and fast trial of all political prisoners, Journalists and others who are under Incarnation in various jails of the country should be conducted,” he said.

All religious scholars should be released and there should be no restrictions on their religious activities, he added.

Activist Om Prakash Shah, Adv Irfan Hafeez Lone, ANC senior leader Muzaffar Shah and JKAT Party Chairman Waqar H Bhatti, General sectary Nadeem Shafi, Gazi Omer were among the people who joined the protest.(CNI)
