Many social organizations and socio-political activists expressed concern over delay in payment of cash relief for the month of March to displaced community.
In this context an urgent meeting was convened today at Jammu in which notable social political activists and community leaders partcipated to highlight the issue of monthly cash assistance of March and impressed upon the Lt.Governor , Chief Secretary J&K to issue directionto the Relief Commissioner to release the monthly cash assistance to the migrants who are totally dependent on the monthly cash assistance & have no source of income to make their both ends meet.
while speaking in the meeting , M.K. Yogi senior KP leader in his address appealed Governemt of India to frame a tangible rehabilitation policy for kashmiri Pandits back in Valley in time bound period to fulfill their long pending demand so that 37 year old exile period is ended.
Yogi also advocated for enhancement of meager cash assistance from Rupees 13000 to 27000 per month keeping in view rise in daily essential commodities. He also appealed Relief commissioner Migrants Jammu to direct the concerned officials for speedy disposal of public grievances without making inordinate delays.
Vinod Pandita while speaking in the meeting highlighted the grave issues like permanent doling out new Job package for educated unemployed KP youth, release or cash assistance to migrants relief holders of March month forthwith without further delay.
Vinod Pandita also for passage of temples and shrines bills forthwith for proper upkeep and maintenance of the temples and shrines of Valley.
