Jammu : Request for Policy Review Regarding Rotational Transfer for PM package employees from Srinagar region to Jammu region
Kindly refer letter No DMRRR/ MR/ 23 / 2023( 7182210 ) dated June 12,2024.regarding rotational transfer policy for PM package employees from Srinagar region to Jammu region.
We would again like to request to your goodself that in absence of this rotatonal transfer policy it is badly affecting these dedicated PM package employees currently serving in different parts of the Kashmir Valley. and facing significant challenges as they are unable to be transferred from their initial place of posting at district and regional levels, effectively restricting them to remain in the Valley without the opportunity to serve in the Jammu region.
This issue has brought to light the hardships these employees endure, feeling confined and unable to visit their families Jammu as well as experience a change in their service tenure. This predicament essentially confines them to a single region of Jammu and Kashmir, denying them the chance to enjoy a fundamental righ, the ability to reside and work in different parts of the state.
Sir, it is disheartening to note that the government’s response categorized this matter as a policy issue. However, I am compelled to seek clarification on what nature of policy could justify such constraints that evidently do not serve the welfare and well-being of the employees. The current policy effectively inhibits their ability to spend meaningful time with their families in the Jammu region, which is essential for their personal and professional fulfillment of important nature.
In light of these concerns, I respectfully urge the administration to reconsider and review the existing transfer policy for PM package employees. This review should aim to facilitate a rotation basis transfer system that allows for equitable opportunities across different regions of Jammu and Kashmir. Such a reevision would not only enhance the morale of the employees but also uphold principles of fairness and inclusivity within the state administration.
Sir, we kindly request your personal intervention in this matter to initiate a dialogue and deliberation on modifying the policy to better serve the interests of our dedicated workforce. I believe that with your leadership and guidance, we can achieve a solution that aligns with the spirit of justice and equality.
Thank you sir for your attention to this critical matter. I look forward to your prompt response and actions on this important issue.
Yours sincerely,
