Sarpanch Held With 21 Grams Of Brown Sugar Like Substance in Boniyar Baramulla

Srinagar, 17 May (CNI) :Baramulla Police arrested a Sarpanch with 21 Grams of contraband Brown Sugar like substance at Bela Boniyar area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
As per the statement issued here to news agency-Current News of India (CNI) reads Police under the supervision of Shokat Ali-JKPS, SDPO Uri assisted by DySP Prob Kubra Nazir-JKPS SHO PS Boniyar arrested Sarpanch of Lari Boniyar namely Mohammad Amin Banday S/O Anayat Ullah Banday R/O Lari Boniyar, during naka checking at Bela Boniyar who was coming towards Boniyar and upon seeing the naka party he tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.

During their personal search 21 grams of contraband Brown Sugar like substances was recovered from him and was taken into custody immediately.
Meanwhile a Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Boniyar and investigations set in motion.
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.(CNI)
