Kupwara, 16 Aug (CNI) : A 40-year-old scooty rider was killed after the two wheeler collided with sumo in Bumhama area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on tuesday morning.
An official said that the Sumo bearing registration No. JK01W-4834 collided with the scooty JK05-7327 ridden by 40-year-old Mohammad Maqbool Ganaie of Thandipora Kupwara , resulting critically injuries to him.
He was brought to SDH Kupwara for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, an official said.
Police have registered a case in this regard and investigation taken up. (CNI)
