His father Syed Abdul Rasheed Shah passes away
Srinagar, 09 Aug (CNI) :Syed Abdul Rasheed Shah, retired Divisional Forest Officer and father of Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Secretary Tourism and Culture passed away after brief illness on Wednesday.
His funeral prayers were offered at Peerbagh in which people from all walks of life participated.
People from various social, political and cultural organisations have offered their condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Editor in chief of News-agency Current News of India, Bilal Bazaz deeply saddened by the loss of father of Syed Abid Rashid and remembers him as being a brave heart, compassionate and down to earth person. At this hour of grief i stands and Empathises with the grieved family,he said.
