A consignment of narcotics substances were recovered by forces along the Line of Control in Jhangar Rajouri district on Friday.
Officials said that an operation was launched in Jhangar area after receiving a specific intelligence input about the presence of narcotics in the area.
Five packets of Narcotics weighing 8.6 kg were found by the security forces during the search operation. The substance was seized by the police.
In this regard, a case FIR no 171/2023 U/Ss 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in police station Nowshera. (CNI)
