A seminar was held at the Taj Vivanta Hotel in Srinagar today on the subject of Polycystic Ovarian Disease, a common disease amongst women. The Seminar was held under the aegis of the PCOS Society of India and was titled, ‘E3 Seminars, Evidence, Experience, and Excellence.

As per news agency Current News of India PCOD, also called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is a disease which causes disorders of sugar metabolism, skin diseases, and difficulties in getting pregnant. Many experts attended and spoke at the Seminar, including Dr Duru Shah, founder and President of the PCOS Society of India, Prof Abdul Hamid Zargar, former Director of SKIMS, Soura, Dr Imran Majeed, senior Dermatologist and Director of Cutis Institute of Dermatology, Srinagar, among others.

Attendees also included Gynaecologists from Academic Departments of Medical Colleges of Srinagar and other doctors.
