Poonch, CNI NEWS: The Shia Federation Province Jammu, a duly registered society, has reaffirmed its legal status, democratic organisational structure and commitment to the welfare and development of the community.
The Federation has resolved to protect its registered name, logo and institutional identity from any unauthorised use, particularly on social media, and to take appropriate legal measures wherever necessary.
The meeting also approved a number of community-oriented initiatives, including:
- Collection of comprehensive data of unemployed youth to facilitate career counselling, specialised coaching, skill development, employment guidance and other support.
- Streamlining the donation mechanism to ensure transparent, systematic and accountable collection and utilisation of community contributions.
- Holding area-wise meetings across Jammu Province to strengthen coordination, identify local issues and encourage wider participation.
- Development of an official website providing information about the Federation, its activities, membership, welfare programmes and donation facilities.
- Creation of a Youth Wing to actively involve young people in educational, social, skill-development and community welfare activities.
- Formation of specialised sub-committees for education, youth affairs, welfare, donations, social development and other important areas.
- Strengthening coordination with affiliated Anjumans and expanding welfare and educational programmes for the community.
The Federation reiterated that its future programmes will focus on education, employment, youth empowerment, social welfare, transparency and community development, with active participation of its members and affiliated organisations.
Maulana Syed Karamat Hussain Jafri, Nigran of the Federation, presided over the meeting. In his presidential address, he stressed the need for greater unity within the community and suggested various measures for the effective implementation of the agenda points and proposed initiatives.
Syed Nazir Hussain Shah, President, Shia Federation Province Jammu (Registered), presented the report card of the Federation and initiated the discussion on the agenda points of the meeting.
Dr. Syed Nusrat Hussain Shah Kazmi, General Secretary, conducted the proceedings and presented the agenda points before the house for deliberation.
Prominent members of the community and members of the Executive Body who participated in the meeting and took an active part in the deliberations included Maulana Syed Zulfikar Ali Jafri, Irshad Hussain Sofi, Syed Azrar Hussain Shah, Syed Aftab Hussain Shah, Syed Saleem Shah, Riaz Ahmed Mir, Advocate Iftikhar Ahmed Bazmi, Mohd. Sibtain Ansari, Alhaj Kifayat Hussain Sofi, Dr. Alamdar Adam, Syed Qalbe Abbas Mosvi, Syed Qayoom Hussain Shah, Alhaj Syed Imtiaz Hussain Naqvi, Syed Jahangir Hussain Shah and Syed Mukhtar Hussain Shah.
