Srinagar, (CNI NEWS): Care Foundation & Charitable Trust organised a special Exposure Programme for specially-abled persons at Pahalgam, providing participants an opportunity to explore the scenic surroundings, interact with officials and spend a memorable day in an inclusive environment.

The programme commenced with the flagging-off of buses carrying the participants from CRC Bemina towards Pahalgam. The buses were flagged off by SSP Nighat Aman, Sheikh Firdous Ali, Chairman Rehmatan Lil Alameen Foundation, Mushtaq Ali, Padma Shri awardee Dr S.P. Verma and Dr Mehjabeen Nabi, Chairperson, Care Foundation & Charitable Trust.On arrival at Hotel Safer K,

Pahalgam, Dr Mehjabeen Nabi was accorded a warm welcome with a bouquet and shawl by Khursheed Sahib, Advocate Fahad Bhat, Kaleem Bashir and others.The programme was also attended by SHO Pahalgam as the Guest of Honour. The SHO appreciated the efforts of Care Foundation & Charitable Trust for organising the initiative and promoting social inclusion and equal opportunities for specially-abled

persons.During the exposure visit, the participants visited the Mountain Park and Museum and interacted with officials as well as the Principal/Colonel. They were briefed about the history, gems and other important aspects associated with the place.The participants expressed happiness over the initiative and enjoyed the day, describing the visit as a

memorable experience.On the occasion, several social activists and officials were honoured with Certificates of Appreciation for their valuable contribution and dedicated services in the field of social work.In her Vote of Thanks, Dr Mehjabeen Nabi expressed gratitude to all the guests, officials, participants and volunteers for their support. She particularly appreciated the volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth conduct and success of the
