Srinagar police busts mobile snatching gang, 3 arrested, 11 phones recovered

September 17, 2023 CNI News Srinagar: Three members of the cell phone snatching gang operating inside the Valley’s top hospital, SMHS, were reportedly apprehended by Jammu and Kashmir Police in Srinagar on Saturday.

The cops have also recovered 11 stolen phones. Muneeb Jan, Mohiudin Hakeem, and Mohd Irfan Pampori from Safa kadal are the three people who have been detained in this connection. 

 Jammu and Kashmir Police in Srinagar on Saturday said to have arrested three members of the mobile stealing gang, operating in Valley’s premier hospital, SMHS.

The police have also managed to recover 11 stolen phones. The arrested individuals are Muneeb Jan, Mohiudin Hakeem, and Mohd Irfan Pampori, all residents of Safa Kadal.

“Three members of the mobile stealing gang operating in SHMS hospital were arrested, with 11 stolen mobiles recovered. The arrested individuals are as follows: 1) Muneeb Jan, son of Manzoor Shah, resident of Sekidafar Safakadal. 2) Mohiudin Hakeem, son of Ghulam Mohiudin, resident of Chai Dub Safakadal. 3) Mohd Irfan Pampori, son of Mohd Sultan, resident of Safakadal,” Srinagar Police in a tweet said.
