Srinagar,:(CNI) The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic Rural Kashmir on today undertook a visit to Sonamarg to assess the prevailing traffic situation and to interact with the traffic officials deployed in the area.
The visit aimed to ensure smooth traffic flow and educate drivers about traffic regulations.
During the visit, the SSP held briefing sessions with the traffic personnel stationed in Sonamarg.
These sessions focused on effective traffic management strategies to handle the tourist influx and maintain order on the roads.
The SSP Ravinder Pal Singh also went a step further by conducting awareness sessions for drivers.
He said these sessions aimed to educate them regarding traffic norms and apprised them of their rights and responsibilities on the road.
Singh initiative is a part of the ongoing efforts to promote road safety and ensure a transparent and hassle-free traffic management system for all.(CNI)
