Srinagar, 21 Aug (CNI) : A 17-year-old boy drowned while taking a bath in Rangil area in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on monday evening .
Reports reaching News-agency Current News of India that a 17-year-old boy identified as azmat Ahmad Wani, son of Bilal Ahmad Wani of Rangpora Illahibagh drowned while taking a bath at rangil area.
Soon after the incident locals present there launched a rescue operation to trace out the body and with the help of police the body of drowned boy was retrieved and immediately was taken to SKIMS Soura, where he succumbed later.
An official said that the body was handed over to legal heirs after medico-legal formalities. (CNI)
