Ganderbal, 16 Aug (CNI): In a tragic incident on wednesday afternoon, a 17-year-old boy drowned to death in river Sindh near newly built Wayil bridge in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Reports reaching News-agency Current News of India (CNI) that a 17-year-old identified as Haziq Imtiyaz drowned near the newly built bridge in Nallah Sindh at Wayil area in Ganderbal district.
Soon after the incident, a rescue operation was launched to retrieve him and the body was retrieved after hectic efforts.
Meanwhile, after completing Medico-Legal formalities, the body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites. (CNI)
