Pattan, 27 June (CNI): In order to curb the practice of illegal profiteering and black marketing in Pattan town ahead of the upcoming festival of Eid-ul-Adha, the Special Market Checking teams of Tehsil Administration along with team of TSO FCS&CA, Revenue department, Municipal Committee Pattan & police department on Tuesday conducted intensified market checking at Singhpora and various places in pattan Tehsil.
The drive was conducted on the directions of the Sub District Magistrate Pattan under the supervision of Naib Tehsildar Singhpora/Pattan/Palhallan along with team of TSO FOOD,CS&CA, Revenue deptt,Municipal Committee pattan & police department at Singhpora, Khanpeth, Dasilpora, pattan, palhallan, Hyderbeigh & adjacent areas during the market checking many expired items were destroyed onspot,fine was also recovered onspot from many defaulters.
The market checking drives has been started across the sub division pattan, and the checking teams also warned all the stockholders to display rate lists and remain cautious for future, if any stockholder found violating the government rules the said shop will be sealed, fine and FIR will be lodged against the defaulters under Essential Commodities act-1955.(CNI)
