Srinagar: (CNI) Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court, Justice N Koteswar Singh administered the oath of office to Justice Mohd Yousuf Wani as Additional Judge of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court in the Chief Justice’s Courtroom here today.

 

Justice Tashi Rabstan, Justice Rajneesh Oswal, Justice Vinod Chatterjee Kaul, Justice Sanjay Dhar, Justice Javed Iqbal Wani, Justice Rahul Bharti, Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi, Justice Waseem Sadiq Nargal and others from Jammu were physically present in the swearing-in ceremony in Srinagar were Justice Atul Sreedharan, Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Justice Sindhu Sharma, Justice Puneet Gupta, Justice Muhammad Akram Chaudhary and Justice Rajesh Sekhari.

 

The oath-taking ceremony was conducted by Shahzad Azeemm, Registrar General of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court, who read out the contents of the notification received from the Department of Justice (Appointments), Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India. Division) and a warrant of appointment issued by the President of India and a letter of authority issued by the Lieutenant Governor, Centrally Administered Jammu and Kashmir, empowers the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to administer oath position of newly appointed judge.

 

Former Judges of High Court, Advocate General, Jammu and Kashmir, Deputy Solicitor General of India, Srinagar, Secretary, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, District Judges posted at Srinagar Headquarters, members of various Bars were also present at the function attended Civil and Police Administration Officers and Registry Officers and Staff and Member Secretary, Legal Service Authority, Jammu and Kashmir with the development, the number of judges of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has reached 16 including the Chief Justice.
